Description

•  Optizan is a solution that kills bacteria, viruses and other harmful organisms. Optizan is based on hypochlorous acid, with the chemical formula HOCl. Hypochlorous acid is a weak acid produced by our bodies that provides a defence against infection. Because it is a naturally occurring substance and derived from the body’s natural immune system, it is biocompatible. As well as hypochlorous acid, Optizan contains low levels of other components (oxidants) that fight bacteria. It is the combination of these mixed oxidants that gives Optizan its potency.
• Optizan has been tested by independent laboratories using test methods that are approved at a European Norm (EN) level. Each EN test specifies a method and organisms against which a solution is tested to measure its ability to kill those microorganisms. A solution can only pass an EN test when it meets all of the criteria.
• This Biocide can be used as a direct surface disinfectant in our spray bottles, or administered through a ULV cold fogging system, which offers Dry Mist Surface and Air Decontamination.
